The practice of martial arts has been part of my life for over 30 years. It has helped me to develop physically and personally. Through teaching Kung Fu I have the opportunity to share this within the community. My classes are exciting and focus the students on the values of courtesy, honesty, respect, integrity and self control. They develop over time through hard work and perseverance.
I nourish the uniqueness of each individual and their life ambitions, regardless of age or background. My role is to guide, instruct, and motivate them so that each person is trained to the best of their own ability and potential.

The Chinese Fighting Arts have been practiced by the Chinese for many thousands of years and was the cumulative result of years of military conflicts during the various dynasties that were constantly seeking to become the absolute ruler of China.
Owing to the military requirements of that time, many systems of fighting arts were developed into extremely effective forms of self-defense.
Shaolin temples played a significant role in the development and recognition of Chinese Fighting Arts.

Classical Kung Fu sessions focus on honing hand and leg techniques through the practicing of classical drills (forms) fixed sparring and free sparring to demonstrate the lessons learned.
Chinese Boxing (San Shou) classes focus primarily on the art of free sparring. This is particularly useful for students who may later wish to compete in the martial arts arena at local, national or international level.
